Variable Induction Control Actuator: Description and Operation

Induction Control Valve:

PURPOSE
Controls operation of the induction control valve.

OPERATION
When vacuum is supplied to the diaphragm (from the ECM controlled solenoid), it over comes the internal spring. The diaphragm moves, which in turn opens the induction control valve via an actuator rod.
