Cranking Signal: Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION
An input signal to the engine control module to indicate when the engine is cranking. The ignition switch supplies "ON" and "START" information to the engine control module to position the idle speed control components. The ignition switch "ON" signal is provided to the engine control module through the control relay.
