Drivers Side Air Bag Module

1. Set front wheels in straight-ahead position.
2. Disarm SRS as described under Technician Safety Information.
3. Remove covers from both sides of steering wheel, if equipped, then using T30 Torx bit, remove Torx bolts.

4. Disconnect air bag and horn electrical connectors, then remove air bag unit, Fig. 32.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Ensure ignition is turned Off.
b. Do not allow harness and connectors to interfere with other components.
c. Install new Torx bolts and tighten to specifications.
d. After completing installation, arm SRS as described under Technician Safety Information.
