DTC P1100 - STARTER SWITCH CIRCUIT LOW INPUTDTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Two consecutive driving cycles with fault
TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
- Failure of engine to start
CAUTION: After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct CLEAR MEMORY MODE and INSPECTION MODE. Refer to How to Clear Diagnostic trouble codes.
WIRING DIAGRAM
11BL1: CHECK OPERATION OF STARTER MOTOR.
NOTE:
- Depress the clutch pedal (MT).
- Place the inhibitor switch in the "P" or "N" position (AT).
CHECK: Does starter motor operate when ignition switch to "ST"?
YES: Repair harness and connector.
NOTE: In this case, repair the following:
- Open or ground short circuit in harness between ECM and starter motor connector.
- Poor contact in ECM connector.
NO: Check starter motor circuit.
