DTC P1100 - STARTER SWITCH CIRCUIT LOW INPUT

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Two consecutive driving cycles with fault

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
- Failure of engine to start

CAUTION: After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct CLEAR MEMORY MODE and INSPECTION MODE. Refer to How To Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

11BL1: CHECK OPERATION OF STARTER MOTOR

NOTE: Place the inhibitor switch in the "P" or "N" position.

CHECK: Does starter motor operate when Ignition switch to "ST"?

YES: Repair harness and connector.

NOTE: In this case, repair the following:
- Open or ground short circuit in harness between ECM and starter motor connector.
- Poor contact in ECM connector.

NO: Check starter motor circuit.
