DTC P1120 - STARTER SWITCH CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Two consecutive driving cycles with fault

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
- Failure of engine to start

CAUTION: After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct CLEAR MEMORY MODE and INSPECTION MODE. Refer to How To Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

10BW1: CHECK OPERATION OF STARTER MOTOR.

NOTE: Depress or release the clutch pedal.

CHECK: Does starter motor operate when ignition switch to "ON"?

YES: Repair battery short circuit in starter motor circuit. After repair replace ECM.

NO: Check starter motor circuit.
