Switches and Harness

A: REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air intake duct and cleaner case.





3. Disconnect connector back-up light switch and neutral position switch.
4. Lift-up the vehicle.





5. Remove back-up light switch and neutral position switch with harness.

B: INSTALLATION





1. Install back-up light switch and neutral position switch with harness.
Tightening torque: 24.5 Nm (2.5 kgf-m, 18.1 ft. lbs.)
2. Connect connector of back-up light switch and neutral position switch.
3. Install air cleaner case.
4. Connect battery ground cable.

C: INSPECTION
1. BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH
Inspect the back-up light switch.

2. NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
1. Turn ignition switch to OFF.
2. Disconnect neutral position switch connector.





3. Measure resistance between neutral position switch terminals.





4. Replace defective parts.
