Rear Gate Latch Assembly

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery.
2. Remove the rear gate trim.
3. Remove the rear gate key cylinder rod clamp.




4. Remove the three bolts.
5. Disconnect the connectors, and then remove the rear gate latch assembly.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Make sure the lock works properly after installation.

INSPECTION
1. Make sure the rod is not deformed.
2. Make sure the lever and rod work smoothly.
