Clear Memory Mode

OPERATION
WITHOUT SUBARU SELECT MONITOR
Current Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) shown on display are cleared by turning the ignition switch to OFF after conducting on-board diagnostics operation. Previous Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC), however, cannot be cleared since they are stored in the TCM memory which is operating on back-up power supply. These Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) can be cleared by removing the specified TCM connector.

CLEAR MEMORY: Removal of TCM connector (B54 and (B55 (for at least two minutes)
^ The TCM connector (B54 and (B55 is located in the line to memory back-up power supply. Removal of this connector clears the previous Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) stored in TCM memory.
