Disassembly and Assembly

DISASSEMBLY

1. DRIVER'S SEAT
1. Remove the seat from the vehicle.




2. Remove the reclining lever and reclining hinge cover.




3. Loosen the screw, and then remove the hinge cover.




4. Remove two reclining hinge securing bolts on each side.




5. Loosen the bolt and nuts to remove slide rail.
6. The backrest portion is non-disassemble. However, after the side airbag is deployed, disassemble it before disposal, referring the following description.




7. Remove the hook at bottom of seat backrest.




8. Remove the hog rings, and then remove the seat back rest cover.

CAUTION: Because it may cause the side airbag to activate incorrectly, do not assemble and reuse the seat backrest after disassembling it. Replace the seat backrest as assembly.




9. Remove the hog rings, and then remove the seat cushion cover.

2. PASSENGER'S SEAT
1. Remove the seat from vehicle.




2. Loosen the screw, and then remove the hinge cover.




3. Remove the reclining lever cover and hinge cover.




4. Remove two bolts from the reclining hinge on each side.




5. Loosen the four bolts to remove seat cushion.
6. The backrest portion is non-disassemble. However, after the side airbag is deployed, disassemble it before disposal, referring the following description.




7. Remove the hook at bottom of seat back rest




8. Remove the hog rings, and then remove the seat back rest cover.

CAUTION: Because it may cause the side airbag to activate incorrectly, do not assemble and reuse the seat backrest after disassembling it. Replace the seat backrest as assembly.




9. Remove the hog rings, and then remove the seat cushion cover.

ASSEMBLY

1. DRIVER'S SEAT

Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

2. PASSENGER'S SEAT

Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly
