DTC P0604 - INTERNAL CONTROL MODULE RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY (RAM) ERROR

OUTLINE OF DIAGNOSIS
- Detect the malfunction of micro-computer (RAM).
- Zero clear the all normal RAM on initial routine, and judge NG when the sum of cleared RAM is not "O".

ENABLE CONDITION
Perform the diagnosis without condition by initial routine.

GENERAL DRIVING CYCLE
Perform the diagnosis only once immediately after the IG key is turned to ON.

DIAGNOSTIC METHOD




Judge NG when the malfunction criteria are completed, and judge OK at the IG key turned to ON.

DTC CLEAR CONDITION
- When the OK idling cycle is completed 40 times in a row
- When "Clear Memory" was performed

MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT CLEAR CONDITION
- When the OK driving cycle is completed 3 times in a row
- When "Clear Memory" was performed

FAIL SAFE
None

ECM OPERATION AT DTC SETTING
Memorize the freeze frame data. (For test mode $02)
