Back-Up Light Switch

REMOVAL
1. Remove the manual transmission assembly from vehicle.





2. Disconnect the back-up light switch connector.





3. Remove the back-up light switch.

INSTALLATION





1. Install the back-up light switch.
Tightening torque: 32 Nm (3.3 kgf-cm, 23.6 ft. lbs.)





2. Connect the back-up light switch connector.
3. Install the manual transmission assembly to vehicle.

INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2. Remove the intercooler.





3. Disconnect the transmission harness and chassis harness.








4. Measure the resistance between back-up light switch terminals. If it is not within specifications, replace the back-up light switch.
