When removing the ring indicator, please note the following. We have found that using a plastic trim removing tool works very well. The transmission ring indicator can best be removed by gently pulling up at the claw position points indicated below. This will lessen the chance of the panel being damaged.

Note: When replacing ring indicator, cover the console surface with cloth to prevent scratches. We recommend wearing soft fiber gloves for avoiding scratches on the console surface by fingernails.
