Jack-up Plate

REMOVAL
1) Set the vehicle on a lift.
2) Lift-up the vehicle.
3) Remove the under cover.
4) Remove the jack-up plate.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque:
Jack-up plate to crossmember:

70 Nm (7.1 kgf-m, 52 ft. lbs.)

Turbo model and STI model
Tightening torque:
Both end of jack-up plate to crossmember:

30 Nm (3.1 kgf-m, 22 ft. lbs.)

INSPECTION
Check the jack-up plate for wear, damage and cracks, and correct or replace if defective.
