DTC P0602 CONTROL MODULE PROGRAMMING ERROR1. OUTLINE OF DIAGNOSIS
Detect the malfunction of catalytic converter initial warm-up retard angle control.
Judge as NG if the ECM is not operating properly when performing catalytic converter initial warm-up retard angle control.
Judge as NG when either the intake air amount diagnosis or the idle speed diagnosis becomes NG.
- Intake air amount diagnosis The amount of intake air should increase when performing catalytic converter initial warm-up retard angle control. If it remains low, judge as NG.
- Idle speed diagnosis Judge as NG when actual engine speed is not close to the target engine speed after stopping the retard angle control.

3. GENERAL DRIVING CYCLE
Perform diagnosis when controlling the catalytic converter initial warm-up retard angle.
4. Diagnostic method
- Intake air amount diagnosis
Abnormality Judgment
Calculate the average amount of intake air and total retard angle when diagnosis enable conditions are met.If the following conditions are established after predetermined amount of time has passed, judge as NG.
Normality Judgment
If the following conditions are established after predetermined amount of time has passed, judge as OK.
- Idle speed diagnosis
After the diagnosis enable conditions are met, judge as NG if the continuous time during which the following conditions are met exceeds the predetermined time, and judge as OK if it doesn't.
5. DTC CLEAR CONDITION
- When the OK idling cycle is completed 40 times in a row
- When "Clear Memory" is performed
6. Malfunction Indicator Light Clear Condition
- When the OK driving cycle is completed 3 times in a row
- When "Clear Memory" is performed
7. FAIL SAFE
None
8. ECM OPERATION AT DTC SETTING
Memorize the freeze frame data.(For test mode $02)
