NUMBER: 12-120-10
DATE: 08/09/10

APPLICABILITY:
2008~2010MY Impreza
2009~2010MY Forester

SUBJECT:
Driver's Side Manual Seat

INTRODUCTION

If you encounter a customer complaint that the seat height lowers without driver's operation, there is the possibility that the customer's leg is hitting the seat lifter lever (knob) when exiting the vehicle without their knowledge. The seat lifter lever was modified to prevent that from occurring. The seat lifter lever should only be replaced if you have that type of customer complaint.
