DTC - General Description
DTC P2102 THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL MOTOR CIRCUIT LOW1. OUTLINE OF DIAGNOSIS
Judge as NG when the electronic throttle control power is not supplied even when ECM sets the electronic throttle control relay to ON.
2. COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
3. ENABLE CONDITION
4. GENERAL DRIVING CYCLE
Always perform the diagnosis continuously.
5. DIAGNOSTIC METHOD
Judge as OK and clear the NG when the malfunction criteria below are met.
Time Needed for Diagnosis:
- 400 milliseconds (For NG)
- 2000 milliseconds (For OK)
Malfunction Indicator Light Illumination: Illuminates as soon as a malfunction occurs.
6. DTC CLEAR CONDITION
- When the OK idling cycle is completed 40 times in a row
- When "Clear Memory" is performed (Only with engine stopped)
7. MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT CLEAR CONDITIONS
- When the OK driving cycle is completed 3 times in a row
- When "Clear Memory" is performed (Only with engine stopped)
8. FAIL SAFE
Stop the continuity to the electronic throttle control motor. (Throttle opening is fixed to 6°.)
9. ECM OPERATION AT DTC SETTING
Memorize the freeze frame data. (For test mode $02)
