REPAIR PROCEDURE/INFORMATION

This update can be installed by the dealer or customer.

NOTE:
Reprogramming will be required if the battery fails or is disconnected in the future, therefore it would be best to provide your customer the disc after updating. As with any update, if the current navigation version is the same or higher than the version of the update disc, it is not necessary to update the program.

1) Turn the ignition switch to the ACCESSORY position.

2) Eject the MAP Disc and insert the navigation update program disc. NOTE: Do not insert the update disc into the DVD/CD loading slot. If the system has already been updated and the update disc is loaded again, no update will occur and the CAUTION screen will be displayed.

^ The software update will start immediately.

^ After the program is updated, the navigation unit will reboot.

3) Touch "Agree" when displayed on the navigation screen.

4) Eject the disc when "DISC is not a MAP DVD" is displayed on the navigation screen.

5) Insert the valid MAP Disc. Update is now completed.
