Removal

Removal

1. Engine under cover NO. 1 removal
2. Coolant (SUBARU Super Coolant) draining
3. Fan & generator V-belt removal
4. Exhaust manifold removal





5. Water pump pulley removal
(1) Use the SST to secure the water pump pulley.
SST 18355AA000, 18334AA030





(2) Remove the three bolts and remove the water pump pulley.





6. Engine water pump ASSY removal
(1) Remove the five bolts and remove the engine water pump ASSY and gasket.
