Installation

NOTE:
^ The following procedure indicates the LH side.
^ For the RH side, perform the same procedure as the LH side.

1. Installation of rear axle hub and bearing ASSY LH
(1) Install the rear axle hub and bearing ASSY LH to the rear axle carrier with 4 bolts.
Standard value:T=65Nm {663kgf-cm} {1,459.99cm-lbf}
2. Installation of rear disc
3. Installation of rear drive shaft ASSY
4. Connection of rear disc brake caliper ASSY LH
5. Installation of rear axle shaft nut LH
(1) Clean the thread of the drive shaft and rear axle shaft nut LH with white gasoline.

CAUTION:
^ Always clean the drive shaft even if it is new.
^ Clean and remove oil, foreign matter, etc. completely.

(2) Install a new rear axle shaft nut LH using a socket wrench.
Standard value:T=190Nm {1938kgf-cm} {4,270.25cm-lbf}

CAUTION:
Do not crimp the rear axle shaft nut LH.

NOTE:
After the inspection of the rear axle hub and bearing ASSY LH play and runout, crimp the rear axle shaft nut LH.

6. Inspection of rear axle hub & bearing ASSY axial play Rear
7. Inspection of rear axle hub & bearing ASSY runout Rear





8. Securing of rear axle shaft nut LH
(1) Crimp the rear axle shaft nut LH using a chisel and a hammer.
9. Installation of speed sensor RR LH
(1) Install the speed sensor RR LH with a bolt.
Standard value:T=7.5Nm {77kgf-cm} {167.64cm-lbf}

CAUTION:
Keep the tip and mounting portion of the speed sensor RR LH free from foreign matter.

10. Installation of rear tire
Standard value:T=120Nm {1224kgf-cm} {2,697.48cm-lbf}
11. Adjustment of parking brake lever free play
12. Inspection of test mode (speed sensor system)
