Installation1. Installation of shift & select lever ASSY
(1) Install the shift & select lever ASSY to the floor shift control shift lever retainer.
(2) Install the shift lever cap with the 4 bolts.
Standard value:T=7.5Nm {77kgf-cm} {5.5ft-lbf}
2. Connection of floor shift control shaft
(1) Apply Permalub ECN-9 to the tip of the floor shift control shaft.

(2) Temporarily install a new boot to the shift & select lever ASSY.
(3) Connect the tip of the floor shift control shaft to the shift & select lever ASSY and install the plate washer and the clip, then install the shift & select lever boot.

4. Installation of shift lever boot
(1) Install the shift & select lever retainer and the shift lever boot with the 4 bolts.
Standard value:T=7.5Nm {77kgf-cm} {5.5ft-lbf}

CAUTION:
Cover the shift & select lever ASSY with the boot, and install the inner sealing portion to the bottom of the shift lever cap and the upper sealing portion to the groove on the bottom of the slider.
(2) Connect the harness.
(3) Install the shift & select lever cover with the 2 clips.
