Installation
ATF Cooler Pipe and HoseINSTALLATION
1) Install the ATF cooler pipe assembly to frame.
Tightening torque:
7.5 Nm (0.76 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
2) Attach the bolts securing the ATF cooler pipe assembly, and attach the ATF cooler pipe hose.
NOTE:
Use a new ATF hose.
Tightening torque:
7.5 Nm (0.76 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
3) Connect the harness connector to the A/C pressure sensor.
4) Connect the ATF radiator outlet hose to the upper side of the radiator.
NOTE:
Use a new ATF hose.
5) Install the front bumper.
6) Lift up the vehicle.
7) Install the ATF AT inlet pipes and outlet pipes with new washer.
NOTE:
Use a new bolt for the converter case joint.
Tightening torque:
T1: 40 Nm (4.1 kgf-m, 29.5 ft-lb)
T2: 38 Nm (3.9 kgf-m, 28.0 ft-lb)
T3: 45 Nm (4.6 kgf-m, 33.2 ft-lb)
8) Connect the ATF AT inlet and outlet hoses to the pipe on the transmission side.
NOTE:
^ Install so that the hose is not folded over, excessively bent or twisted.
^ Insert the hose to the specified position.
^ Use a new ATF hose.
9) Connect the ATF radiator inlet hose under the radiator.
NOTE:
^ Install so that the hose is not folded over, excessively bent or twisted.
^ Insert the hose to the specified position.
^ Use a new ATF hose.
10) Install the front exhaust pipe.
11) Install the under cover.
12) Fill with the ATF and check the level.
NOTE:
Make sure there are no ATF leaks in joints between the transmission, radiator, ATF pipes, and ATF hoses.
