Steering Wheel: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove horn pad from steering wheel.
3. Remove steering wheel shaft nut.
4. Scribe alignment marks on steering wheel and shaft to aid in assembly.
5. Remove steering wheel with suitable puller.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Align marks on shaft and steering wheel.
b. Torque shaft nut to 25 ft. lbs.
