Component Tests and General Diagnostics

The electrical circuit of the RWAL system can be checked by measuring voltage of the RWAL control module connector terminals. RWAL control module cannot be checked by itself. It is strictly prohibited to connect voltmeter or ohmmeter to RWAL control module with harness connector disconnected from it.

Battery must be fully charged to perform this test as terminal voltage will be directly affected by battery voltage.
1. Remove RWAL control module from body.
2. Connect RWAL control module harness coupler to RWAL ECM.

3. Ensure voltage at each terminal of coupler connection is as specified, Fig. 17.
