2-Door

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove lower propeller shaft universal joint flange and position aside to the right.
3. Place suitable container under oil pan, then remove oil pan attaching bolts except for the three rear bolts.
4. Loosen three rear oil pan bolts, then drain fluid from front side of oil pan.
5. Remove three remaining attaching bolts, then the oil pan and gasket.
6. Check the strainer screen and clean or replace as necessary.
7. Install oil pan and new gasket. Tighten oil pan attaching bolts to specifications.
8. Connect propeller shaft to differential flange. Tighten bolts to specification.
9. Lower vehicle and add proper amount of Dexron II or equivalent.
