In conjunction with the prerequisites noted below, refer to charts, Figs. 2 through 4 , when troubleshooting this transmission:











1. Engine coolant is at normal operating temperature.
2. Engine idle speed is 750-850 RPM with A/C Off.
3. Transmission fluid level is correct and at normal operating temperature.
4. Throttle and select cables are properly adjusted.
5. Gear shift control system wiring is in good condition.
