DTC 58

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION:
These DTCs identify a motor circuit that is shorted to battery or a motor that has low or no resistance.
This malfunction will not allow the motor to be controlled at the commanded current rate or will cause the motor to turn in the opposite direction or not at all.

FAILURE CONDITION:
DTCs 58, 63 and 66 can be set only when the motor is commanded off. If the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) detects an out of range voltage on either of the motor circuits (indicating a circuit shorted to battery or a motor shorted), a malfunction exists.
