DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

WARNING:
- When performing a road test, select a place where there is no traffic or possibility of a traffic accident and be very careful during testing to avoid occurrence of an accident.
- Road test should be carried out with 2 persons, a driver and a tester, on a level road.





TROUBLESHOOTING


TCC RELAY CHECK





1) Remove ICC relay with ignition switch OFF.
2) Check resistance between each two terminals.
Between terminals 2 and 4: Infinity
Between terminals 1 and 3: 79 - 95 Ohms

If check results are as specified above, proceed to next operation check, if not replace.





3) Check that there is continuity between terminals 2 and 4 when battery is connected to terminals 1 and 3.
If found defective, replace.
4) Install relay and connect its coupler securely.






TCC SOLENOID VALVE CHECK.
Giving battery voltage (12 V) to solenoid, valve function would be tested as shown above.

CAUTION: To avoid mis-wiring and consequential diode damage, do not conduct battery voltage through coupler which is originally installed in the transmission.
