Shift Switch and Oil Pan

SHIFT SWITCH AND OIL PAN





1. Shift manual select shaft inner lever to N (neutral) position.





2. Insert shift switch into manual select shaft and turn switch itself up and down a little with shaft fixed stationary. Stop at a position where it feels tight and fasten it with a bolt. If switch bracket has been removed, reinstall it with a bolt before installing switch.
3. Install lever and spring washer to manual select shaft and fasten them with nut.

Tightening Torque
(a): 23 Nm 12.3 kg-m, 17 ft. lbs.)
(b): 21 Nm (2.1 kg-m, 15 ft. lbs.)
(c): 19 Nm 11.9 kg-m, 14 ft. lbs.)






4. Install oil pan with a new oil pan gasket, making sure that its magnet fits with projection of oil par
5. Apply thread lock cement to bolts and torque them to specification.

Tightening Torque (d): 13 Nm (1.3 kg-m, 9 ft. lbs.)
