HO2S-2 With Wu-TWC and HO2S-1

REMOVAL (HO2S-2 WITH WU-TWC AND HO2S-1)

WARNING: To avoid danger of being burned, do not touch exhaust system when system is hot. HO2S removal should be performed when system is cool.

1. Disconnect negative cable (-) at battery.
2. Remove connector from bracket and disconnect coupler of HO2S.
3. Remove exhaust manifold upper cover if necessary.
4. Hoist vehicle when removing HO2S-2 (with WU-TWC).




5. Remove HO2S-1 from exhaust manifold.

CAUTION: Be careful not to expose it to excessive shock. It may cause damage to sensor inside.

INSTALLATION (HO2S-2 WITH WU-TWC AND HO2S-1)
Reverse removal procedure noting the followings.
- Tighten HO2S-2 (with WU-TWC) and HO2S-1 to specified torque.

Tightening torque
HO2S-2 (with WU-TWC) and HO2S-1 (a):
45 N.m (4.5 kg.m, 32.5 lb-ft)

- Connect coupler of HO2S-2 (with WU-TWC) and HO2S-1 sensor and fit connector to bracket.
- After installing HO2S-2 (with WU-TWC) and HO2S-1, start engine and check that no exhaust gas leakage exists.
