TCM-BCM (A/T only) and BCM-METER Signal Circuit Construction

Description
- TCM-BCM signal (A/T only) is a voltage signal (1.6 - 2.5 volts and 2.5 - 3.6 volts) which is outputted from TCM to BCM through the CAN communication line (low and high), based on A/T selector position signal and A/T mode switch position signal from each switches.
- BCM-METER signal is a voltage signal (0 - 12 volts) which is outputted from BCM to combination meter through the signal circuit, based on charging system warning signal, DRL indicator signal, Brake indicator signal, windshield washer level switch signal, light switch cognition, A/T selector position signal (A/T only) and A/T mode switch position signal (A/T only) from each switches and controller.
- CPU in combination meter operates charging system warning indicator, DRL indicator, Brake indicator, washer level indicator, A/T selector position indicator (A/T only) and POWER indicator (A/T only) by analyzing BCM-METER signal.
- If CPU in combination meter detects a malfunction of TCM-BCM signal, it makes each lights in combination meter turn OFF or flashing at the same time as follows when ignition switch is turned to ON position and warn the driver of such occurrence of trouble.
- All A/T selector position indicators turn OFF.
- POWER indicator turns OFF.

- If CPU in combination meter detects a malfunction of BCM-METER signal, it makes each lights in combination meter turn OFF or flashing at the same time as follows when ignition switch is turned to ON position and warn the driver of such occurrence of trouble.
- Charging system warning indicator keep flashing
- DRL indicator keep flashing
- Brake indicator keep flashing
- Washer level indicator keep flashing
- All A/T selector position indicators turn OFF (A/T only)
- POWER indicator turns OFF (A/T only)
