Lubricate
    Doors, Hood and Trunk
      Lubricate all key lock cylinders, hood latch assemblies, secondary latches, pivots, spring anchor and release pawl, hood and door hinges, rear folding seats, and lift gate hinges. Mor frequent lubrication may be required when exposed to a corrosive environment such as winter road salt. Apply silicone grease to weatherstrips.
Reset
    Oil Change Reminder Lamp
      Reset oil life system. If the system is ever reset accidentally, perform the maintenance service within 3000 miles since the last service.
Inspect
    Wiper Blade
      Inspect windshield wiper baldes for wear, cracking or contamination. clean or replace as necessary.
    Washer Fluid
      Inspect washer fluid levels and add fluid as needed.
    Throttle Cable/Linkage
      Check throttle system for interference or binding and for damaged or missing parts.
    Steering and Suspension
      Visually inspect front and rear steering system for damaged, loose, or missing parts and signs of wear. Inspect power steering cables for proper hook-up, binding, cracks, chafing, etc. (if equipped).
    Restraints and Safety Systems
      Inspect the restraint system components. Make sure the safety belt reminder light and belts, buckles, latch plates, retractors, and anchorages are working properly. Look for any loose or damaged safety belt system parts. Look for any torn or open airbag coverings.
    Fluids
      Check for any leaks and damage. Check fluid levels.
    Cooling System
      Check coolant level and condition. Visually inspect hoses for cracking, swelling or deterioration. Inspect all pipes and fittings and clamps. Pressure test the system and radiator cap. Replace parts as necssary. Clean the outside of the radiator and condenser at least once per year.
    Cabin Air Filter / Purifier
      Inspect at mileage interval (if equipped), replace if necessary. If driven under often dusty conditions, the filter may need replacement more often.
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Visually inspect brake lines and hoses for proper hook-up, binding, leaks, cracks, chafing, etc. Inspect disc brake pads for wear and rotors for surface condition. Inspect drum brake linings/shoes for wear or cracks (if equipped). Inspect other parts, including drums, wheel cylinders, calipers, parking brake, etc. Check parking brake adjustment.

      Rotate tire condition and check inflation and wear.
