Front Air Control Self-Diagnosis

A/C SYSTEM SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION
The self-diagnosis function is built into the front air control to quickly locate the cause of malfunctions.

DESCRIPTION
The self-diagnostic system diagnoses sensors, CAN system, and battery voltage on front air control. Refer to applicable sections (items) for details. Malfunctions (if any are present) will be displayed in the form of turning ON the A/C, MAX A/C, DEF and Intake button LED's. Refer to [Self-Diagnosis Function].

SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE
1. Turn ignition switch ON.











2. Press the FLOOR/DEF ( ) and DEF ( ) mode switches at the same time and release on the front air control.
3. Press the FLOOR ( ) and intake ( ) buttons within two seconds to enter DTC check mode.
4. The mode (VENT, FLOOR/DEF, FLOOR and VENT/FLOOR) LED's start flashing in a clockwise sequence indicating that Self test is in progress. This takes about 17 seconds to complete.
5. All mode LED's stay ON once self test completes.
6. Malfunctions (if any) will be displayed in the form of turning ON the A/C, MAX A/C, DEF and Intake button LED s. Refer to [Self-Diagnosis Function].
7. To exit diagnostic mode, press any button on the front air control.
