Accessory Drive Belt Removal and Installation

Removal
1. Disconnect negative (-) cable from battery.
2. Loosen belt tensioner by turning tensioner (1) clockwise.

CAUTION:
N32A:
Do not turn tensioner pulley with a torque higher than 80 N.m (8.2 kgf-m, 59.0 lbf-ft).
J24B:
Do not turn tensioner pulley with a torque higher than 59 N.m (6.0 kgf-m, 43.5 lbf-ft).


3. While keeping tensioner in the loose position remove accessory drive belt (2).






Installation
1. Loosen belt tension by turning tensioner (1) clockwise.

N32A:
Do not turn tensioner pulley with a torque higher than 80 N.m (8.2 kgf-m, 59.0 lbf-ft).
J24B:
Do not turn tensioner pulley with a torque higher than 59 N.m (6.0 kgf-m, 43.5 lbf-ft).


2. While keeping tensioner in the loose position install accessory drive belt (2).






3. Connect negative (-) cable to battery.
