DTC B1036: Driver Air Bag (2nd stage) Circuit Resistance Low

DTC Will be Set when
The combined resistance of the driver air bag (inflator) module (2nd stage), contact coil assembly, harness wiring and connector terminal contact is below a specified value for specified time.

Flow Test Description
Step 2: Check whether malfunction is in contact coil and driver air bag (inflator) module (2nd stage) or the others.
Step 3: Check driver air bag (inflator) module (2nd stage) initiator circuit.
Step 4: Check whether malfunction is in contact coil or driver air bag (inflator) module (2nd stage).

NOTE: Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs.
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check:Advanced Air Bag Air Bag Diagnostic System Check to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
