Illumination: Removal and Installation

Illumination Control Switch

Removal

The illumination control switch is replaced as a part of the combination meter. Refer to [Combination Meter: Removal and Installation] Service and Repair.





Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

A/T Finisher Lamp

Removal

1) Remove A/T finisher from center console. Refer to [A/T Finisher: Removal and Installation] A/T Finisher.
2) Rotate A/T finisher lamp socket (2) with bulb (3) counterclockwise, then pull away from finisher (1).






Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Bulb Replacement

3) Remove A/T finisher from center console. Refer to [A/T Finisher: Removal and Installation] A/T Finisher.
4) Remove A/T finisher lamp socket (1), then pull bulb (2) straight out away from socket.





5) Install the bulb (2) into the A/T finisher socket (1).






6) Install A/T finisher in center console. Refer to [A/T Finisher: Removal and Installation] A/T Finisher.
