Air Bag Diagnostic System Check
WARNING:
Use of any type of electrical test equipment other than test equipment specified in this manual for performing diagnosis on the air bag/pretensioner systems, including use of a battery-powered or AC-powered voltmeter or ohmmeter or a non-powered probe-type tester, can cause the air bag module or seat belt pretensioner to be activated, possibly causing personal injury.
Never use any electrical test equipment other than test equipment specified in this manual and be sure to carefully follow the instructions provided.
NOTE:
Failure to use proper air bag diagnostic and repair procedures can result in extended diagnostic time, false diagnosis results, parts damage, or inappropriate parts replacement.
Be sure to diagnose DTCs in the order specified.
The diagnostic procedures used are designed to find and repair air bag system malfunctions.
To get the best results, it is important to use the diagnostic flow and follow the sequence in the following.
1) Perform the Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Flow Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Flow:Advanced Air Bag.

must be the starting point of any air bag system diagnosis.
