Replacement of Flat Tire Repaired with Sealant
WARNING:
- Damage to health may result if you do not observe the precautions in Service Precautions Precautions for Emergency Flat Tire Repair Kit (If Equipped)
when performing the procedure below.
Be sure to observe the precautions when handling the flat tire repaired with the sealant.
- Sealant may leak out when releasing air from tires, which can result in damage to health.
Do not inhale, swallow or touch the sealant.
1) Remove wheel and tire repaired with sealant.
2) Release air from the tire slowly by loosening valve core.
3) Remove flat tire repaired with sealant from wheel. Tire and/or Tire Pressure Sensor (If Equipped) Mounting and Dismounting
4) Wipe off repair sealant from flat tire repaired with sealant and wheel.
5) For vehicle with TPMS, install new tire pressure sensor to wheel. Tire and/or Tire Pressure Sensor (If Equipped) Mounting and Dismounting
6) Install new tire to wheel. Tire and/or Tire Pressure Sensor (If Equipped) Mounting and Dismounting
7) Install wheel fitted with new tire to vehicle.
