DTC B1387 / B1388: Driver / Passenger Seat Belt Buckle Sensor Performance Problem

Refer to B1381 DTC B1381 / B1384: Driver / Passenger Seat Belt Buckle Sensor Circuit Resistance High:Advanced Air Bag.

DTC Will be Set When

The voltage of seat belt buckle sensor circuit is out of specification for specified time.

DTC Troubleshooting

1) Turn ignition switch OFF.
2) Replace defective seat belt buckle sensor referring to Removal and Installation Front Seat Belt Removal and Installation.

NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs, if any. DTC Clearance
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check:Advanced Air Bag
to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
