SUBJECT: EXHAUST SYSTEM RATTLE/VIBRATION NOISE

MODEL: ALL

YEAR: ALL

CONDITION:
Muffler/Catalytic converter rattle/vibration noise.

CAUSE:
Debris (rocks, gravel, etc.) caught between the heat shield or loose fasteners (nuts/bolts).

CORRECTION:
Remove debris and tighten all fasteners to specified torque.


NOTE:
Numerous exhaust components are being replaced due to debris or loose fasteners. Care in inspection/diagnosis must be taken to prevent denial or debiting of claims submitted under warranty.
