SUBJECT: MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL LEAK
MODEL: ALL MANUAL TRANSMISSION SWIFT MODELS
YEAR: 1989-1991


CONDITION: Oil leaking from manual transmissions, may appear to be coming from driveshaft seals





CAUSE: Gear shift interlock bolt loose or missing.

CORRECTION: A new part has been issued (P/N 25321-60B01), the tightening torque has been increased, and thread lock compound applied to threads of the bolt.
