The enclosed list contains the affected vehicles assigned to your dealership for campaign follow-up.

The "Follow-Up List" contains the following information:
VIN I.D. of vehicle involved.
Owner name and address As reported on the R.D.R. or any owner change
notice.
Letter date Month of last notification letter.
Purch date Dealer code of dealer who purchased the vehicle
from ASMC.
Regist dealer Dealer code of the dealer who reported
retail/in use (R.D.R.).
Repair dealer Dealer code of the dealer who reported
(claimed) the last warranty repair if any. If you are the last repair dealer the vehicle will appear on your list even through you did not sell the vehicle.
Claim # /repair date Indicates the claim # and date the vehicle last
came to your dealership for a warranty repair.
Campaign/dealer/date This column indicates previous campaign
reports.

Not shown on the list are vehicles for which campaign performance reports have been processed prior to printing. Variations: JA, JB, JC, JE, JH, JJ, & JK are considered campaign completion.

If however, variations JD, JF, & JG were reported, such vehicles will still appear on the follow-up list since these variations do not constitute campaign completion.

Before you follow-up, check with your Sales Department files for the correct name/address (a considerable number of owner notification letters were returned with incorrect names and addresses).
If the vehicle is assigned to your dealership because you performed the last warranty repair, please review the claim/R.O. for the current owners address. If the owner lives in your area you should follow-up.

If you are a new dealer you may not receive a list unless you submitted warranty claims on any affected vehicle. For any vehicles sold by a previous dealer that may have existed in your area, contact the Warranty Department to obtain the follow-up list of that previous dealer.
