Hood Latch Assembly Inspection

1. Inspect hood latch assembly for bent latch or missing latch retaining bolts. Replace as necessary.

2. Check the torque of the three (3) hood latch retaining bolts on the hood latch. Correct bolt torques as required.

Torque Specification

5 ft.lbs. (7 N-m)

3. Close hood to assure latch assembly and striker are properly aligned and engine correctly. Correct as necessary.
