Hub and Knuckle Replace

GT MODELS
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove rear wheels.
2. Remove rear caliper and disc as outlined in the "Disc Brakes" section.
3. Remove spindle cap, then the spindle nut and washer.

4. Pull wheel hub off using tools, Fig. 4.
5. Disconnect brake hose bracket from knuckle.
6. Remove brake disc dust cover and caliper carrier from knuckle.
7. Support suspension arm with suitable jack.

8. Confirm rear toe setting, Fig. 4. Remove nut and washer from inside of control arm.
9. Remove control arm outside nut from knuckle stud bolt.
10. Remove strut and knuckle lower mounting bolts.
11. Disconnect knuckle from suspension arm, then remove knuckle from strut.
12. Reverse procedure to install.

EXCEPT GT MODELS
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove rear wheels.
2. Remove rear brake drum.
3. Disconnect brake line from wheel cylinder.
4. Remove brake backing plate from knuckle.
5. Support suspension arm with suitable jack.
6. Confirm rear toe setting, Fig. 4. Remove nut and washer from inside of control arm.
7. Remove control arm outside nut from knuckle stud bolt.
8. Remove strut and knuckle lower mounting bolts.
9. Disconnect knuckle from suspension arm, then remove knuckle from strut.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
