Exploded View Of Throttle Body:





IMPORTANT SERVICE NOTES
^ Be sure not to remove either fuel pressure regulator or air valve from throttle body. They are factory adjusted precisely.
^ Be sure to replace gaskets and 0 rings as well as worn or damaged parts.
^ While disassembling and assembling throttle body, use special care not to deform levers on throttle valve shaft or cause damage to any other parts.
^ TS (TPS), fuel pressure regulator, fuel injector, air valve, V\ITS, other components containing rubber (resin) or throttle valve shaft seal must not be placed in a solvent or cleaner bath. Chemical reaction will cause these parts to swell, hard or get distorted.
^ Don't put drills or wires into passages for cleaning. It causes damage in passages.

DISASSEMBLY
- Remove fuel injector from throttle body.
- Remove TS or TPS.
- Remove WTS.
- After removing screws, separate upper and lower bodies.

Cleaning Passages:





CLEANING
- Clean passages and fuel injector chamber by blowing compressed air.

Installing Gasket:





ASSEMBLY
- Install new gasket to lower body.
- install upper body onto gasket.
- tighten screws (#5 in Fig.1) to specified torque.

TORQUE VALUE
2.9 - 4.1 Nm (0.29 - 0.41 kg-m, 2.1 - 2.9 lb-ft)

- Install water temperature sensor with new seal and torque to specified torque.

TORQUE VALUE
20 - 30 Nm (2.0 - 3.0 kg-m, 14.5 - 21.5 lb-ft)

- Install TPS/TS.
- Install fuel injector.

- Install sub-wire to throttle body and tighten screw to specified torque.

TORQUE VALUE
1.6 - 2.4 Nm (0.16 - 0.24 kg-m, 1.2 - 1.7 lb-ft)

- Connect injector connector securely, cover injector cover with connector cover and with wire pushed against injector connector, clamp sub-wire.
