Water Temperature Switch

Fig. 3 Water Temperature Switch Inspection:

1. Immerse switch in silicon oil or glycerin up to level shown, Fig. 3, then connect suitable ohmmeter.
2. Check for continuity (switch open) with temperature of liquid above 226°F.
3. If continuity is not within specification, replace water temperature switch.
