When the rear spindle caps are removed, please follow the installation procedures listed in this bulletin.
This bulletin is to inform you of the modification of the rear spindle cap which has been carried out in 1995 production vehicles starting wide the VIN listed below. Whenever the EARLY style rear spindle caps are removed, please follow the installation procedures listed in this bulletin.
If you should experience noise from the rear wheel bearing, replace the rear wheel hub assembly (without ABS: p/n 43420-60G10; with ABS: p/n 43420-60G20) and follow the installation procedures listed in this bulletin.

SERVICING
The EARLY style spindle caps can be reused as long as the installation procedures listed below are performed on the vehicle.
1. Remove the spindle cap and clean the mating surfaces on both the cap and the rear wheel hub.
2. Apply a very thin coating of black silicon sealant (Suzuki p/n 99104-31140) evenly to the spindle cap mating surface, as shown above.
3. Install the spindle cap to the rear wheel hub. Make sure that the sealant does not enter the inside of the cap.
