CONDITION:
Modification of ABS controller.

CAUSE:
Factory modification to standardize control modules.

CORRECTION:
When replacing the ABS controller, please use the information as listed in this bulletin.

REVISION:
Change in "NOTE" section in last illustration.

This bulletin is to inform you of the modification of the ABS control module which has been carried out since November 1995 production. This modification was made to standardize ABS control modules. The late type controller will require a new procedure to clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC). Please see this bulletin for an explanation of this procedure.

The ABS control module can be identified by the part number located on the side of the controller, as shown.
