INSPECTION





1. Check wheel bearing for wear. When measuring thrust play, apply a dial gauge to wheel hub.
Thrust play limit: 0.4 mm (0.016 inch)
When measurement exceeds limit and shaft nut is tightened to specified torque, replace bearing.





2. By rotating wheel actually, check wheel bearing for noise and smooth rotation. If defective, replace bearing.
