2. Cartridge CAN Be Updated With A Personal Computer

Since the mass storage cartridge is programmable, the cartridge can be updated with new model information using an IBM compatible PC, special software, and a serial interface kit. When new model information after the 1998 model year is available, Suzuki will issue a Technical Service Bulletin that will explain how to update the mass storage cartridge and the part numbers for the ADM Kit and the PC Interface Kit, as shown.

To update the cartridge, you will need the items as shown:

a. GPC System
- IBM compatible PC with a 386, 486, Pentium, or higher processor
- A high-density, 3.5" floppy disk drive
- 1MB of free hard disk space
- One unused serial port
- Microsoft Windows 3.1, 95, or NT 3.1 or higher, or IBM OS/2 Warp 3.0 or higher
- VGA display

b. ADM Kit
- Installs new model trouble diagnosis software into the mass storage cartridge.

c. PC Interface Kit
- Connects the Tech-1A to your PC system.

d. Tech-1A Kit,
- Version 2 only (p/n 09931-76011)
